The City of Plainview is accepting applications for a full time City Maintenance worker. The position will be 40 hours per week, Monday- Friday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with additional requirements for after-hours calls, weekends and holidays. On call schedule will rotate between others on staff. Qualifications: legally authorized to work in the United States, high school diploma or GED, Class A CDL (or obtain within one (1) year of hire ), obtain Grade IV water license and Grade L wastewater license within one (1) year of hire, general knowledge of equipment and repair, concrete work, ability to work independently, good driving record. Ability to work with public and in variety of elements. Salary dependent on qualifications and experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, vacation and sick pay.
